I started painting when I was around 11, I believe. My grandparents bought me a watercolor set for my birthday, and I started playing around with them, and found I loved it! How long does it take you to paint a picture? It depends on how detailed and what size the painting is. Usually anywhere from a half-hour for something small, to an hour and a half for something larger. Out of your own work do you have a favourite? Yes, for sure! It would have to be my "Theo" bird. I actually didn't love it at first, but now it's my absolute favorite, and shop icon. And of course, I had to name him. ;) Which artists inspire you? I think the main one would be Roseann Hayes. Her watercolors are so ethereal and natural, and so similar to what I love to paint. She's just a phenomenal artist! Here are those links again, get in now to secure those Christmas gifts!
